Dear NNP Community,

After 40+ years in the recruitment business, 30 of which have been focused on exclusively recruiting NNPs, it is time for me to step away and spend more time with family and friends and to see what this “retirement thing” is all about. As such, I will be retiring and leaving my post at Ensearch on November 29th, 2024.

What started out as an inspiration in 1992 turned into not only a business but also a calling to support the providers who take such excellent care of the tiniest and most fragile of our patient populations; the neonates. I am not yet sure where this new path will take me, but I do know it has been my honor and privilege to serve the NNP industry for so many years. Working alongside you and your colleagues has been a true blessing, and I continue to be in awe of the role you provide.

My journey to retirement started back in 2021 when I decided to sell Ensearch, then carefully searched for a new owner who deeply values the critical role NNPs play and has the leadership skills to help Ensearch thrive. After receiving numerous inquiries, I decided to choose Yasemin Kliman, who took over the company in November 2021. Now that I have worked with Yasemin for three years, I can confidently say that she has far exceeded my expectations. In the time since she came on board, Yasemin has not only proven herself to be an outstanding leader, but she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the NNPs and the clients Ensearch serves.

In addition to strong new leadership, Ensearch has a robust team in place to serve you and your community after my departure. We will continue to be your primary and trusted source of Neonatal Nurse Practitioner recruitment for locum and full-time jobs. Over the last few years, we have welcomed several new employees, including Sean Simon, Chris Holt, and Tyler Nolan to bolster our recruiting and client support. If you have not yet met them, I’m confident you’ll be pleased with having them in your corner. We are also lucky to have a solid core of administrative support from Mary McCrady and Julie Piazza, who have been with Ensearch for more than a dozen years each and to this day still proudly assist your community.

Thank you, Yasemin, for continuing Ensearch’s mission to serve the NNPs, the hospitals, and the precious neonates this community cares for.  And thank you, NNPs, for touching my life and allowing me to play a tiny part in the saving of so many babies over the years. It has been a wild ride, and I take with me SO many wonderful memories.

Thank you and may God bless you all.
