ENSEARCH is looking for an NNP with level IV experience to support a Central California client. This client is looking for Locum Tenens Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage for their 60+ bed level IV Neonatal ICU and smaller LIII Neonatal Unit with deliveries.

Opportunity

• Provide coverage to either or both units:
  • 60+ bed surgical NICU (hearts but no ECMO)
  • 8 bed LII, delivery unit
• 12 and 16 hour shifts
• No transport requirement
• One NNP on duty with neo in-house during the day and on-call after hours
• Client will work around your home hospital’s schedule

Location

• Gateway to Yosemite National Park
• Proximity to both the coast as well as mountains
• Mild climate
• Proximity to major airport with regular flights to / from most major cities

Requirements

• Ability to commit to an average of at least one trip per month, working a minimum of three (3) shifts per trip
• Experienced NNPs with at least two years of NICU experience
• Delivery Room experience
• MSN required; no exceptions!
• Must have, or be able to obtain, California licensure and furnishing number
• Preference given to candidates with current California licensure (NNP)
• Proficiency with PICC and umbilical line placements, high frequency oscillators and jets (preferred)
• Level IV experience (highly preferred)

Compensation

• Highly competitive hourly rate
• All travel, lodging and ground transportation costs are pre-paid by our Client
• Client also provides malpractice insurance and covers all costs associated with credentialing and licensure (if necessary)
