Ensearch has a client in North Carolina with a rare opening for an NNP. This group has very low turnover, so openings here don’t come along very often.

You will be part of a team providing coverage to one LIII site and two Newborn Nursery sites, working primarily 24-hour shifts.

Opportunity

• One unit is a 50+bed LIII delivery site, with an average daily census of 30 and an average caseload ranging between 8-12 (census dependent)
  • Also provides coverage to newborn nursery services
  • Small ground (only) transport component to the role at the LIII site
• Optional NNP coverage to two LI Newborn Nursery coverage sites
  • Attend deliveries: 35 weeks and above
  • Stabilize and transport out sick babies
• Shifts are mainly 24s, along with some 12s
• Two NNPs on duty (24/7) at the LIII, while just one NNP on duty at the LI sites

Requirements

• Currently seeking experienced NNPs only; sorry, no new grads
• Used to working independently and autonomously
• Strong clinical skills & procedural competency
• Delivery room experience required
• Personality requirements: outgoing, flexible and team-player
• No current Covid vaccination requirement
